My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, and very well maintained.
I really enjoyed all the personalised touches, such as the booklets about the property and the flora and fauna that could be found there. The owner was very kind, and it was an all around great experience.
A fantastic peaceful place to stay, literally at the foot of the scenic Glasshouse Mountains. Our weeks stay was totally relaxing and peaceful in a beautiful and spacious bungalow with a well appointed kitchen and a comfy bed. The bird song breakfast was also a delight. We will be returning a the soonest possible opportunity!
My fiancee and I stayed in bungalow 2 as we wanted to have a self contained. We were thrilled with it. Very clean very spacious and and loved not having a TV! The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you need.
The bed was very comfortable.
And overall felt very comfortable and private!
The location is awesome
Not being far from some great holiday activities! Such as 12 mins from Australia zoo
Owners were awesome very friendly and informative
We will definitely be back maybe will stay in the queenslander train next time as it looks very cool!
Highly recommend staying here! This was the first place my husband and I stayed when we got to Australia to start our Queensland road trip. Could not ask for a better experience. Not just the place, but also the owner, Keith, just made it a great first stop! We saw so much wildlife right outside our room including massive flocks of yellow tail black cockatoos! Learned so much about all the native plants and wildlife there. He has so many interesting plants and fruit trees on the property too! He even grows and roasts the most delicious coffee there! The eco lodge is extremely close to all the trails for the glasshouse mountains which was incredible. Also close to several cool towns and the Australia Zoo! Highly recommend having a day with no plans here too so that Keith can plan a day for you! We had an open day and Keith sent us to a waterfall, a beautiful town to have lunch in, and then had us climb mount Ngungun for sunset. His recommendations made for an unforgettable first day in Australia for my husband and I. Maybe just don’t make this your first stop, only because you will miss Keith’s delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit from the garden every morning the rest of your trip. I know we sure did!!
Highly recommend this place for anyone who’s wanting to travel while being respectful to the environment. The garden and cabins are stunning and incredibly peaceful, the bedroom we were in was very comfortable. The breakfast option in the morning is definitely something to go for; local products and very affordable! Keith and his team are kind and caring - thank you for a beautiful stay.
Highly recommend a stay here. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Spotless accommodation. Breakfast was a bonus, with our booking. We had a lovely big plate of fresh fruit and fresh boiled eggs. Stayed here a few weeks ago, not a planned visit, and really just needed an overnight stopover on the way to melb. Would have loved another couple of days. Thanks for a great stay.
Incredible spot to stay, with an amazing history
It's worth staying here, even for just one night, so you can read its history, …
Beautiful setting, bed was fantastic and comfy, and loved the touch of fresh grown fruit as part of the bird song breakfast. Keith is very passionate about Eco ethics but does not comprise on service.
